aerialcameraman 0 #1 February 6, 2005 Has anyone had problems with their cam-eye? I can't get it to turn on the camera and make it stay on. I press the red button the camera turns on and then shuts off. The cam-eye will turn it from record to standby. It also lights up all the colors in my eye that it should.. Maybe i am doing it wrong. Let me know if you have had problems like this ..
ltdiver 3 #2 February 6, 2005 Which camera do you have? Is it compatible with the Cam-Eye? Do you have the original Cam-Eye or the newer Cam-Eye II? http://www.skytools.m.se/ ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
freefalle 0 #3 February 6, 2005 I had the same problem with mine once, I have a PC100 on the right side of the camera, there is a switch, Im not home to look at it right now, but the switch slides from left to right, if its all the way to the right, when I started the cam eye, it did exactly what you are describing turn on 5 sec then stop recording. IF you have the same camera or something similar, slide the switch to the left and try it again. If you press the record button on the camera will it keep recording or do the same thing. let me know
diablopilot 2 #4 February 6, 2005 You do know that you have to have the camera in the ON position for that to work right? Then you can turn most off with the Cam Eye II, and use it to re-activate the camera. Probably a feature not compadible with the newer "slide" switch cameras.....---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. ltdiver 3 #5 February 6, 2005 Quoteturn on 5 sec then stop recording. I thought of this as well, but my new camera doesn't have this feature like my old one did....so didn't know what to call that little slide switch.... Also, THIS PAGE answers some questions. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

aerialcameraman 0 #7 February 7, 2005 You mean I have to turn on the camera by the switch and then shut it off by the cam-eye for this to work right. Then I will be able to shut it off and on by the button
ltdiver 3 #8 February 7, 2005 QuoteI have the first cam-eye the original. I also have it pluged in to a PC109. I wonder if the PC109 needs to have the Cam-Eye II. Anyone out there have a PC109 who can answer this? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
