fatmarl 0 #1 May 12, 2005 I'm looking to start jumping with a camera. I do not intend to film tandems or formation skydives, I just want to capture some of the fun I have on film. Looking through the threads, I see almost nobody jumps the Sony PC106/107 cameras. Is there a reason behind this? I am looking at these cameras because they are small, light and cheap. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
j3zz 0 #2 May 13, 2005 I jump a PC 107 and for what you want I am sure it will be fine, sure it is only 800k as apposed to some of the mega pixel cams but it works for me. As a first camera just for laughs it works out fine Tara Jezz "Now I know why the birds fly" Hinton Skydivers
skydonkey 0 #3 May 16, 2005 PC 106 doesnt have DVIN, so you wont be able to upload your buddy's footage direct onto your Camera. So go for the 107. PC 109 is another £100 plus and just gets you a colour view finder (107 is B+W - but who cares) and memory stick to store stills (No point in taking 0.7M stills anyhow)
