PhreeZone 20 #4 June 20, 2005 On your Dboxes do you use a thumbscrew also or just the straps/buckles?Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
quade 4 #5 June 20, 2005 If you're talking about the attachment to the camera, then that's just the bolts that attach it to the Stroboframe bracket. If you're talking about the dBox holding the camera in place, it's just the piece of cutaway cable that secures the lid. The cameras don't move inside the boxes as they are shimmed in place and foam padded. The cameras aren't going anywhere unless I get hit pretty hard and if I get hit that hard, frankly I'd rather they just leave the helmet.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

AggieDave 6 #8 June 21, 2005 Quote Camera just sits in the box with the top closed using the cable. For some reason I couldn't just leave it with that, I use a thumbscrew as well. My goofy reasoning had to do with camera shaking around in the box, but its a good fit and won't do that, so I really couldn't tell you why I still use a thumbscrew except maybe not trusting that wire-hinge system too well.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
