gweeks 1 #1305 December 23, 2009 Thanks! I didn't do any post processing other than resizing the jpegs that came out of the camera. The sunsets over the Chesapeake Bay really do look like that sometimes and this was a particularly nice one. I attached the settings I used if you're interested. I used the camera's built in flash. pilotdave 0 #1313 February 10, 2010 Cold and snowy here too... Last two are from a 6-plane "missing man" formation that flew over the memorial service for Gary Pond. His father Nate was flying the Cessna 172 that left the formation to leave an empty slot. Dave

Cashmanimal 0 #1316 February 12, 2010 Not a photo, but a piece of footage I like a lot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HnyT5NJiQc I'm still practicing (and getting better at) handling/exporting the footage to preserve it's awesomeness. Still nothing like watching this sunset straight from the camera through HDMI to a good TVIt's all fun and until someone loses an eye... then it's just a game to find the eye

The111 1 #1320 February 20, 2010 I always like the shots I get in Puerto Rico, but THIS one from last week is probably one of my favorites. I love being able to see the waves hitting the coast below.www.WingsuitPhotos.com
tunnelfly 0 #1321 February 21, 2010 Also from Puerto Rico. Not the best, but I like it because it doesn't happen often that I'm in my own picture... No.1 reason NOT to be an astronaut: ...You can't drink beer at zero gravity...

lilchief 1 #1323 February 22, 2010 any1 knows how to fix lensflare in PS or lightroom?"Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been and there you long to return." - Da Vinci www.lilchief.no
The111 1 #1324 February 22, 2010 Quoteany1 knows how to fix lensflare in PS or lightroom? Not sure about the lensflare, being so big and having such complex textures in the background, I don't think it would be very easy. But I do think you should try to fix the highlights... the sky is a bit blown out and the photo would look REALLY nice once you corrected that. Try the "shadows and highlights" feature in PS for a really easy mode. What lens are you using? I really like the shape of the sunstar. That's the one thing I dislike about my 10-22, it makes crappy sunstars.www.WingsuitPhotos.com
PhreeZone 20 #1325 February 22, 2010 That's not looking like lens flare, that's over exposure and there is usually no way to recover that.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
