Most Reliable Blank DVD

Hi.

I am interested in finding the most reliable blank DVD out there. What kind of DVDs do you use for your student videos? What do you find most reliable? What hasn't worked for you or has created problems?

I use the Sony DVD-R... I haven't had any problems with them.

However, the more reliable dvds are actually sold to the medical profession... They don't have any logos on them, so I'm not sure of the company, but they are designed specifically for backing up important data... one of my clients is a dentist and he prefers them.

I use Verbatim dvd-R (with the movie reels on the spool). They work great but 1 out of every 50 will not work in a customers player.

I added DVDs this Spring and have not had one returned to me (150 DVDs). I use Sony +R

I've used + and - and only had problems with the + 2 years ago with the end of year video, but I think it had more to do with the bitrate that I set it at.

Me personally, I use 8x Maxwell DVD-R PW (printable matte surface) and haven't had one out of about 200 return other than one that I forgot to burn
