Flat top pro still

Recommended Posts

Thats 100% personal perference. I can mount mine on top to take vertical shots or inverted on the front from the extended plate, Although, be aware depending on the lens you are using some of you lens might show up on the video, especially if you are using a TRV style video camera. I perfer to mount mine inverted, only because I like horizontal pictures better than vertical. Don't know why, but I just do. Good luck and have fun with it.

I mounted mine ontop.

I had Bonehead make me an expanded top-plate so I can mount my SLR and DBox-ed PC120 side by side.

I prefered that to front-mounting because I like the weight centered farther back. Also, it frees up the front mount to put an inverted flash.
