weegegirl 2 #1 September 15, 2005 Anyone else had this problem? Exporting a final movie project to an AVI... the music seams to come out okay, but the video audio is static hell. Suggestions?
MB38 0 #2 September 15, 2005 It's most likely poor audio compression causing audible artifacts that you're hearing.. AVI is perhaps the least compatible mainstream container format, so it could also be a read related issue.I really don't know what I'm talking about. weegegirl 2 #3 September 15, 2005 Suggestions? I've been looking online for similar issues and it seams it is a common problem. How do you suggest getting clean audio from a project to DVD? Edit to add... just found this... testing it now.... http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/archive/index.php/t-21412.html
weegegirl 2 #4 September 15, 2005 If you have this problem, one way around it that I just found is to right click on the audio track and bring the Gain down to -6. This is a slight pain in the ass, but it has elliminated the crackling sounds. If anyone knows a better way, please inform me. Grassyass.

jtval 0 #7 September 15, 2005 any of em. If I use the camera I still have to lower the DB's becuase the audio will crackle. unless its some low key talking with no background noise. when I import an MP3 I have to lower the DB or the whole track will crackleMy photos My Videos
IGOLOW 0 #8 September 15, 2005 I've had audio problems in the past that were caused from several different issues. I don't think these problems are present in premiere pro but I'm not positive. The main problem I had was dealing with 12-bit audio. It caused some noise that I only noticed on export. I think there was a fix for this but I have since switched all of my cameras to 16-bit audio. I never use the extra track anyway. What version of premiere are you using? Do you use any type of editing hardware? Was the footage captured with Premiere via DV? weegegirl 2 #9 September 15, 2005 Everything is fine except when I export to AVI. Then I have to bring the gain down as noticed last night. captured in premiere pro v7 from my sony pc110. just your standard tandem video with the interview audio on audio 1 and music on audio 2. no other hardware or anything crazy. Zoter 0 #10 September 15, 2005 There was a thread a while back in this forum where MCordia gave a good answer to the problem.... Something to do with the sampling rate on everything but the primary track needing to be íncreased' I'll have alook and get back to you all unless he chimes in himself Edited Found it.... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1588834;search_string=48.000;#1588834

Changing it after you captured video already doesnt fix the problem.. Just always start a completely new project at 48000 khz and you should never have the problem again..JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
