where have you guys been drilling for the cameye button on your RAWA?

Same, I put mine there, and then cut a slit in the head cushion that is on the forehead, and snaked it in between the layers and had the light pop out right above my eye. For dusk, low light jumps, you can turn the camera on, and then push the the light up in the foam so it does not blind you.

How do you attach the button?
Just drill a hole a litte smaller than the outer ring and pushed in there?
The upper part of the button housing locks pretty unflexible to me...

Right on top then epoxied it in, ran cable down to the front and used a patch of velcro to hold it down....works great

I love my "GoldMember" for my digy Rebel. However; I do not have a Rawa.

Where can I purchase a Rawa (or from whom)?

My daughter wants one for X-Mas and I would like to get the order in.

I got mine from Chutingstar in atlanta. I love the way that the excess ratchet strap goes into the chin cup instead of sticking out infront.

I have a digital Rebel XT mounted on top as well and the cam eye and neither seem to be in the way of the other. I ordered mine directly from Radir by email- great guy to work with. I ordered it directly and had in less than two weeks. rawa@rawa.com.br
