outlawphx 1 #4 October 28, 2005 QuoteGet a 300-Vid Stroboframe plate. Found that at B&H. So typically you run a 300-VID and a 300-QRC? I wonder if it's possible to just use the 300-VID, since I'm not planning on pulling off the camera much.
PhreeZone 20 #5 October 28, 2005 you can just use the plate.. but the QRC is work the money. The camers comes off more often then I expected. If you use the VID plate you need to remove it to change tapes. That involves taking the camera off the helmet Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
quade 4 #6 October 28, 2005 Tripod screws are simply 1/4" 20 machine screws or bolts available at just about any hardware store. Just be certain that you shim or washer the screw or bolt in such a way that it doesn't penatrate the interior of the camera (don't let it be too long). Further, don't over tighten. You can easily ruin the camera.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
AndyMan 7 #7 October 28, 2005 Any hardware store should be able to hook you up easy. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

PhreeZone 20 #10 November 1, 2005 B&H has them in stock. They line up the long way.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
shogo 0 #11 November 2, 2005 Thanks. I checked it out. i have another question. unlike bogen quick release plate, the distance between the pin and the screw is not adjustable. is the distance between the pin and the screw standardized among consumer camcoder? at lease among sony? thanks
