tnscorcoran 0 #1 November 2, 2005 Does anyone know of some cheap (preferably free) software tha I can create DVDs with. I'd need a package that I can mix in songs that have been ripped into Windows Media player from CDs also. I have a Sony handicam that feeds into the computer with USB. Thanks. dragon2 2 #2 November 2, 2005 First of all you really need firewire not usb. Usb is only for photos and compressed video, no good for dvd's. for the rest, do a search, there are a couple threads about which editing software and which dvd software you can use, depending on skills and budget. ciel bleu, Saskia
BellyFlailer 0 #3 November 2, 2005 I've heard Adobe Premiere is great. Not free though. You should be able to download that uncompressed video as a .avi file. I use Windows Movie Maker to export stills from the uncompressed video. They come out ok if it's a good quality digital video camera. I think Windows Movie Maker allows you to put songs to your video too. You can probably find it free at microsoft.com. http://www.skydivevids.com http://www.SkydiveVids.com
