ockers 0 #1 January 16, 2006 Out of the helmet, if I turn it off manually, ie the switch next to the record button, the camera shuts down but the green camera light flashes intermittently. In the helmet, if I switch it off with the cam eye II, it shuts down normally then automatically turns itself on again!! Has anyone experienced this or have any idea why this is happening. The camera is about 18 months old
quade 4 #2 January 16, 2006 Sounds like an issue with your CamEye. BTW, you can ALWAYS turn off the camera out of your helmet by removing the battery.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
ockers 0 #3 January 16, 2006 Thanks for the reply, even with the CamEye disconnected, (Camera out of helmet), it won't shut down. Taking the battery out was the only way I could strop the green camera light from flashing

nacmacfeegle 0 #5 January 20, 2006 On most Sony cameras there is a wee reset switch, its a pin hole sized hole that you poke a bent paperclip or similar into. Try that. I 'm not that familiar with the HC cams but its got to be worth a dibble....-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me.
