YISkyDive 0 #1 January 22, 2006 Im down too these two. I can get a RAWA for 350 and Im not sure about the FF2. (If a dealer, thats in the USA PM me, thad be appreciated) But Im not sure which to make my ultimate decision to go too. The fit of the rawa with no adjustments was very nice. Its also the used helmet at my DZ. I dont freefly one bit though. So the lack of angle on the box would make TVideo(all I am really planning on shooting) very difficult without wings. My mentor gave me a wingsuit so I plan on getting in the air with that.. making the box angle a little less important.. The FF2 has the adjustable box which I like. So I don't know, beats the heck out of me. Take it away with any opinions, personal inputs and so on. Oh yah- equipment I plan to use is a PC101 camera that I recently got and a Digital Rebel300D. Miami 0 #8 January 23, 2006 Anyone who has seen or used an FF2 knows they are quite a remarkable helmet, as are all of the helmets made by 2K...Miami
sneaky 0 #9 January 24, 2006 Its a matter of personal opinion and I have seen plenty of camera Helmets with all the bells and wistles but the FF2 tops my list of ' shit camera helmets '. Its a great Helmet if you want to look good, but versatility wise.... No. In the UK with the weather you do a hell of a lot of jumping to test this pants to the max ... try it for a season, jumping day in day out .. In a country with great weather... Zoter 0 #10 January 24, 2006 I just tuned into this thread..... FF2 is "shit" ? Most recreational UK people I see wearing new Cam helmets these days are weraing an FF2. I guess they must all be wrong ehh? Not defending it because I wear one......defending it because it is a very good cam helmet... Form and function...... Not versatile you say ? You can fit just about any PC range of camcorder inside it ( you just need to change/adjust the foam insert) You can adjust the position of the L bracket inside the helmet without drilling new holes everywhere You can top mount a stillsor second video on the flat top..... QuoteIn the UK with the weather you do a hell of a lot of jumping to test this pants to the max . What are you trying to say here? I dont understand....we DONT do a hell of a lot of jumping 'day in and day out' in the UK because of the weather... Have you really jumped with one...??
