Anyone Familiar with the Sony DCR-HC21 ??

Hello all,

I was just wondering if anybody knows the DCR-HC21 and if it is used at all by skydivers. I just may have come across a great deal on one.

I would not fly such a camera myself, but wondered if anybody would.

Do a search in this forum. The Hc series of camras has been disscused many times. I have a hc20 and it works great.

Just bought one......I love it.....worked good so far in the frigid north....not a real highend camera but the video is just as good as my old Sony PC-1....plus this has night shot and Super Steady shot....just protect it cause it has some plastic parts

Its the updated HC20. Small, cheap & does the job fine. My 20 has developed a bit of a habit of not wanting to turn off sometimes but still works fine.

I own three HC20s (last year's model of the HC21) I now own a HC40 and I notice the difference. You can buy an HC20 on Ebay between $125 - $150. Don't pay more than that. You can buy an HC40 for about $300 on Ebay ... a better investment.

What did you pay for it if I might ask? I wuffo acquaintance is selling his for $475CND and at first I thought it was a good deal. I'd only get it if someone here wanted it.
