Bite switch for a 20D

So whats the easiest way to buy, or create a bite switch for the 20D. Should I purchase the remote switch from Canon then cut off the 3 prong head and splice it into my current bite switch or is there an easier way.

That's what I am doing so not sure if there is an easier way. There is a cheaper way though...instead of buying an expensive canon remote, buy a cheap one from eBay, like this (but I personally would look for one already in the US, if you know what I mean).

Yes that is the way to do it for sure. I just did a Conceptus switch for my 20D but don't do the bottle cap thing to cover the switch, that just adds more bulk.

Just pop the silver cover off the top of the round button, remove the round button, then replace the silver cover that snaps right back into place. No need for the bottle cap to cover the button if the button is removed.

follow the instructions in skysurfcams post. I did that for my 20D and it works great. I got two of those remote's off of ebay in case i broke one or something happened i would have a backup.
