Mostly_Harmless 0 #1 March 23, 2006 I just got a pc109 and I am wondering how do you get the video on the mini dv onto your harddrive? I see options to burn to VCD or DVD but nothing to your hard drive. Can you use a program liike roxio to take the video off it? Anyone help?_________________________________________ www.myspace.com/termvelocity

bob.dino 1 #3 March 24, 2006 Firewire cable between your camera and computer. Windows Movie Maker / WinDV / Adobe Premiere / Sony Vegas / etc to capture and edit your footage.
Icon134 0 #4 March 24, 2006 I generally use windows movie maker... its free and it's built into the operating system. If you have a desktop system and it doesn't have a firewire port then you can get a card for 15-20 bucks at a local best buy or something.Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... Mostly_Harmless 0 #5 March 24, 2006 Thanks guys. I think I have a port for it, but I have to see if the wire fits. I will try it tomorrow when I can get to the store._________________________________________ www.myspace.com/termvelocity
idrankwhat 0 #6 March 24, 2006 If you've got a few days and you don't want to spend too much money this is the best fire wire solution that I've found. $12 for the four port fire wire capture card, 6' cable and free shipping. I'm willing to bet you'll have a hard time even getting the cable locally for that price. http://www.acortech.com/.sc/ms/dd/ee/569 Blue skies or great GPS spots,
