Rebel Xt Cf card stuff

Real quick, what cards are you guys using (size and speed), how many pics are you taking on a typical tandem, and what file size are you using?

Also, how much space do you have left on the card after the jump (including landing pics)?

I use the UltraII 512 cards. Shoot 50-60 tandem pics and still have 300+ megs free on the card. It's smaller then a CD so I can fill the card and know it will fit on a CD if for some reason I go wild and shoot 200 photos for some reason.

I use the Large Fine settings, but I know some people are using the medium fine settings.

I am using the 2gb card and I totally over do it on tandems. I am downloading approx. 130-160 pictures for the tandem.

But after some serious thought about this, I am going to change that to around 50-60. Much faster downloads. I know several vidiots that will only take about 20-30, but not sure why, I like for my customer to get all that they can for their money. AND I don't jump non-stop like some other vidiots. (*But would love to do that if anyone is hiring!!!!)

With the 2 gig card, I can take over 1,000 pictures with the camera set on large pics. Still getting to know the camera but that seems to be working very well.

ive got a 1gig card from lexar, writes super fast and i normally take about a 1oo or so during the jump, i like giving the customer as much as possible to get pictures with, plus i always take some home with me at the end of the day, i need to get some of me in front of the camera

350D - Sandisk Ultra II - 1Gb
Shoot on Fine-Large, can fit way too many photo's on there, haha
Shoot roughly 60 shots, fast as.
Any more shots than that, they start to look repetitive

I alternate two cards (512) CF on my Rebel. I usually shoot between 40-50 shots.

Thats what I do too.. on my rebel I would even shoot on 256Mb cards.. now I switched over to 512 or 1Gb cards..
for fun jumps I can go all day pretty much with a 1Gb, or sometimes a whole weekend.. for tandems, I use one card per tandem..
