Rebel XT gets even cheaper

Passing this along to anyone looking at getting cameras for this season. Canon is bringing back their rebate program starting April 1. Save $100 off an XT or loads of other discounts.

The last rebate offer ended 2 days before I bought my XT.

I have been waiting for the $300 rebate for the Canon 5D.

If B&H Photo doesn’t change their prices. After the rebate the cost for the 5D body will be just under $2600.

The rebate savings will help to buy a 28mm & 35mm EF lens.

Then I will have a Sigma 15mm, Canon 20mm, 24mm, 28mm & 35mm lens selection for the 5D full frame.

$730 from Beach Camera, shipped, minus the rebate is a nice $630. I paid $800 just a month ago, but oh well, I would have missed some cool picture opportunities if I didn't have the camera now.
