Camera set up

Howdy,

Just wondering what gear you camera flyers fly and what would be your dream set up with stills and video.

It may be a little premature but I'm about to receive a decent sized tax check and I want to put a camera on my head as soon as I get the jumps up with a view to getting work running camera.

PC1000, Rawa, Finley ringsite w/Schumacher swivel-clamp... someday I'll add a Schumacher quick-release for a top mount digital still camera. Just don't feel like forking out the cash for it right now.

Canon EOS350D on a UN QuickShoe (Conceptus Tongue or Bite Switch) Stock Canon Lens (18-55mm)

You too, Lori? I had a blocked central vein on my left eye a couple years ago. Totally idiopathic. I wish I knew why. But I have adapted.

My set up.

Flat top pro
Sony vx2100 on a strobo(soon to be on schumacher)
Canon 20d/w sigma 20mm on strobo
(soon to be replaced with TSQR)
580ex flash

I can replace the vx2100 with a TRV 525 or a PC100 if needed.

Velco and with a granny strap, you can't see the strap in the photo because I didn't hook it up to take the photos, it is laying between the flash and the vx body.

Yep. Going on 18 years now. Eye kicked out by a horse.

Optical reduced ring site is the only way I'll fly. Don't want -anything- blocking my vision. Works well, and hey...we don't have to close one eye to site!

I just had 2 mounts made for my 550 speed light.I'll be posting them maybe this week to give an idea .I think you'll like .
