Mac help please

Recommended Posts

So i put a blank disk into my ibook g4 and when it asks me what to do i say open finder it then ejects it and says that there is no space on it and gives me code -34.

So this time i put it in and say open disk utility and click on info and it says it is locked and i can write only.
This is what it shows, does anyone know what i can do to make my finder accept this disk?
All other disk i put in with something on them also say they can only be read and i can not change the permissions.

In many versions of the Mac OS, you must have adequate free space on your hard drive to burn a disc. For example, to burn a 700MB CD you must have at least 700MB of free space on your hard drive for the computer to play around with to create the CD. If you don't have the appropriate amount of free space, the CD cannot be created and an error will be presented. Do you have enough free space on your boot drive [Macintosh HD]?
I really don't know what I'm talking about.
