melushell 0 #1 May 17, 2006 I have a PC 109 for a year it has around 200 jumps the problem is suddenly the image went out of focus and i have a black line on top of the image i tried : auto focus/ manual focus, zom it in out reset the camera even small kiks the camera was not smahed or suffered any impact that could have caused the problem my option now is to send it for service but i was courious if anyone had this type of issues maybe solutions Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Peej 0 #2 May 17, 2006 I had the same problem occur with my 109, or at least it sounds like the same problem. I exited the plane and after about 15 seconds the foucs on the camera started zooming in and out wildly. The camera then gave me a E error code. I took it to Sony and they said that the insulation on the wire that runs from the lens to the motherboard had rubbed through. Unfortuntely they don't make these wires by themselves so my only option was to replace the lens or let them try to re-insulate the wire with insulation tape.
