tetra316 0 #1 June 17, 2006 I had planned on getting a canon elph to use as a still cam for tandems. Only when I called skydance they said they no longer modify them since canon quit making them. Is there any other similar still cam that is modified that would work> I don't the $ to buy a rebel nor do I want the weight or size of one. Just looking for one that would work with tandems. vdschoor 0 #2 June 17, 2006 I know you mentioned you don't want a Rebel.. have you looked at the Rebel 2000 (assuming you are looking at a film body) You can find those for about 100-150 bucks on eBay, and they come with a 28-80 lens, which is perfect for flying video (on the 28mm setting) for tandems. That camera is so light you barely feel it on your head and it is an awesome camera. Iwan
jtval 0 #3 June 17, 2006 I modifed my Own Elph ( sounds perverse, doesn't it?) the problem is, as you already know, they stopped making the FILM elph's I think I am going to give the digital elph a shot. its smaller than the film but it seems to take about 20-30 pictures/minute. I really have to go buy one and try it out. does any one already have experience with the digi-elph? post up.My photos My Videos
