bomb420 1 #5 July 19, 2006 One small tidbit, the HC44/46 don't have LANC connectors. Don't know if that is important to you or not. -TrunkHYPOXIC
davidfreefly 0 #6 July 19, 2006 thanks friends for your tips, It would be better if the cam has LANC, but its NOT a determinant factor. I can fix the problem of not having lanc, with a piece of mirror paper on my altimeter so i can see the record light on the plane, before exit . About TRV cams i have searched ebay and i have found a TRV 33 and a TRV 14. Any help or experience with that cameras?? In one hand I have read TRV33 gives some problems of blur or zooming on deployment; About TRV 14 I dont know if it has good image quality (any experience???) on the other hand Im not sure of buying a second han camera, perhaps i prefer to spend a little more money and have a 2 year warranty. Im still doubting between the HC44/46 or the Hc96. There is a big difference in money. * Do you think the 1/5.5 CCD and the 1/3 CCD would make a big difference?? * And what about the 1070 vs 3310 pixel gross (690 vs 2048 pixel video actual). Do you think would notice a big difference filming my tandems? I dont want to spend money if there is not a big difference. * And what about the difference between the 25mm diameter vs the 30mm diameter?? would notice in the field of view?? http://www.advizia.com/v41/PDF/Comparison5.pdf?mcs=258 is a comparation between both cameras. Any one has jumped one of them?? thanks ________________________ DAVID DOVAL www.paracaidismogalicia.com
stratman05 0 #7 July 19, 2006 what setup are people using for a TRV 19? I have an old TRV 17 that I don't use much anymore (burnt firewire port), and a Panasonic GS400 (About the same size) that I want to use to start getting into filming with (fun stuff). thanks, Ian
davidfreefly 0 #8 July 19, 2006 I have gone to a shop this afternoon, both cams Hc44 and HC96 have good look for skydiving. Im still wondering same things about the CCD, about the pixels and about the lens diameter. ________________________ DAVID DOVAL www.paracaidismogalicia.com

They probably could answer any questions you have about pixels and lens diameter at that very same shop...www.WingsuitPhotos.com
