Camcorder deal too good to be true?

I am in the market for a Sony, probably either HC46 or HC90. I am checking around for prices. I found a couple of web sites with fantastic prices.

Is there any negative reason these may be great prices? They say it is the same as if I bought it from Best Buy.

The sites I have found with good prices are: Butterfly Photo, The New Connection and Digital Photo.

I like the price but don't want to regret it later. Any advice would be appreciated.

You should always check the reputation of online stores by using a tool like http://www.resellerratings.com/

I've bought from Butterfly photo before. They will try to sell you accesories, but will understand when you say 'no'.

ButterflyPhoto gets very poor ratings for accepting returns.

Beware grey market sellers.
They repackage products and sell the camera, manual, batteries, cables, etc as separate items. I don't know Butterfly specifically, but there are a lot of them out there.
Butterfly is listed in one of these pages.

I have never bought from any of the stores you mentioned, but have had good luck with dbuys.com. Several other people on this forum have had the same success with them. Almost all of the discount electronic sellers will try to sell you over priced extras.
