matthewcline 0 #27 January 5, 2012 Quotewhat % pass? I do not know if we have a good set of stats on this. In my courses I had about 80% pass (guessing off the top of my head) the whole course the first time through, only using the two eval jumps. The other 20% usually all passed with the repeat. I only had two ever not pass/finish a course. About 75% would opt to do a practice jump prior to the course. I would teach one of the evaluated dive flows to one candidate while the other watched. Then at the 20 minute call I became the student and we executed the jump just like a full blown student jump. On occasion though, I did a time out, to observe a hop and pop (I would teach during those too, bonus untested material so to speak). MattAn Instructors first concern is student safety.
