New Canon SLR switch

Recommended Posts

I was flipping through a magazine and I came across a new tongue switch for Canon Digital SLR's. The beauty is that since Canon basically dominates our sport, they are finally making switches with the Canon plug instead of the stupid 2.5mm ends.

Canon has a proven track record for many years in our sport. They have been able to consistantly come up with 5 new inovations and bring them to market before the precious Nikon can even come up with one. I just couldn't bring myself to move to the Nikon line because every time I would strap that brick on the top of my head, I would have to make sure I was wearing my Tommy-pullmyfinger jeans and my Ralph Loren horsey logo shirt :) Function beats out fashion every time. Sorry, its a rain day on a Saturday and I want to be jumping. This was my way to vent some rage for the day.

the stupid 2.5mm ends.

We appreciate your opinion, but I think most like the 2.5mm ends.

I think the people that have the 2.5mm minijack remote input on their still camera like them and the people that the other connector on their cameras don't like it...:D:D

Damnit!!!
Just bought a 20d and had one of those 2.5mm plugs. Finally got a plug that fits from para gear so gave the 2.5mm tounge switch away. Just bought me a 350d cause it was cheap, and now i dont have a 2.5mm plug....

I hate both the plugs!
