What do you recomend for digital still camera?

I am looking for something 8 MP+, lightweight, compact, easy to use and is good for jumping. What would you buy?

Yes, it is lightweight, compact and easy to use compared to a 5D or some other pro DSLR, but not compared to your regular point&shoot camera's.

Of course, I too, recommend getting the 400D. I have the 350D, and I am very very pleased with it.

Ah, look at his requirements. I don't know any point and shoot cameras that have 8+ MP and are adaptable for skydiving (i.e. external remote capability).

Okay, yeah I guess you're right there. It was just something in the wording that seems to indicate to me that this person is searching for a point&shoot... but yeah, there's no such (point&shoot) camera.
