AndyMan 7 #1 November 20, 2006 Can anyone recomend an easy process to convert a DVD into an IPOD suitable format? Thanks, _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
DSE 5 #2 November 20, 2006 You just need an encoder to MP4 Sony Vegas can import the DVD, and output to iPod. You'll need the Platinum or Pro version. PQiPod works great too, and if you're a Mac user, you can use HandBrake to rip the DVD and encode to mp4 http://handbrake.m0k.org/
Vectracide 0 #3 November 20, 2006 Hey. I have a Mac, and I use a program called Handbrake. It is a very very simple program that allows you to make your DVD movie any size you want. I don't know if they make it for PC's though. It's an awesome program.......... ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
PhreeZone 20 #4 November 20, 2006 Is it just MP4 that is needed? If so another option might be Nero Platinum. I had it rip a DVD for me and it spit out the output in MP4 format.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
DSE 5 #5 November 20, 2006 Nero works great too. Forgot that one. It's got a superior encoder to *almost* anything that's out there, IMO. Blows QT, Squeeze, Handbrake, etc away by quite a bit. But it costs.
