Costyn 1 #2 February 7, 2007 What modem make and model is it? You should be able to do this in the web interface of the modem somewhere. Alternatively you can see if you can turn on UPNP anywhere in the modem. This will allow the programs on your computer to tell the modem what ports to forward. Although I'm not sure if uTorrent does UPNP, you'd have to find out in the program or their website. Azureus does support it. indyz 1 #3 February 9, 2007 UPNP is worth a shot. It doesn't work with my Linksys WRT54G (hacked firmware). It did work with the router in my apartment this summer, though. Edit: I should also add that enabling UPNP is a security risk. It allows any program running on any computer behind your router/firewall to punch a hole in the firewall.
