Tealey 0 #1 February 14, 2007 Can anybody help me in regards to mounting a hc7 and a eos400d (rebel)...top mount/ side mount ?? any suggestions would be great! cheers
 dragon2 2 #2 February 14, 2007 Those camera's need to be both topmounted so you want a helmet that can handle either both on top next to each other, or video on top and stills on front. edit: if you really have so little jumps, or for anyone starting camera work, it's way better to start with flying video only, not both. ciel bleu, Saskia
 vdschoor 0 #3 February 14, 2007 Quote edit: if you really have so little jumps, or for anyone starting camera work, it's way better to start with flying video only, not both. [sarcasm] nah.. just start shooting stills too.. just put your tongue on the trigger as soon as you leave the airplane.. you'll get an ok picture at some point right?[/sarcasm] I agree with Saskia here.. mount the video and start flying.. in fact.. with that number of jumps, start flying, and leave the video on the ground for a bit longer.. I keep seeing pics from people who have no clue about shooting video/stills, about which setting to use when etc etc. "Saskia, help! What's this little -insert symbol here- doing on my screen on jumprun???" Now of course that never happened to me I RTFM (eventually) ciel bleu, Saskia
 beowulf 1 #5 February 14, 2007 If you can't fly your body very well it is unlikely that you will get very many good photos or video worth watching.
