mounting hdrhc7 and eos400

Recommended Posts

Those camera's need to be both topmounted so you want a helmet that can handle either both on top next to each other, or video on top and stills on front.

edit: if you really have so little jumps, or for anyone starting camera work, it's way better to start with flying video only, not both.

[sarcasm] nah.. just start shooting stills too.. just put your tongue on the trigger as soon as you leave the airplane.. you'll get an ok picture at some point right?[/sarcasm]

I agree with Saskia here.. mount the video and start flying.. in fact.. with that number of jumps, start flying, and leave the video on the ground for a bit longer..

And while not flying camera yet, taking the time to learn to USE both on the ground first really helps a lot for when you do start flying 'em.

I keep seeing pics from people who have no clue about shooting video/stills, about which setting to use when etc etc. "Saskia, help! What's this little -insert symbol here- doing on my screen on jumprun???"

Now of course that never happened to me ;) I RTFM (eventually) :D
