JonBojar 0 #1 March 2, 2007 Can anyone tell me when a lens listed their angle of view at say 180 degrees, would that really be an effective 108 degrees or so with an APS sized censor? I know angle of view is a combination of format and focal length so I assume this would be the case but am not positive (as I don't own a full frame digital). I'm assuming the lens is NOT made for 1.6x as I've never seen one of those listed with an angle of view of more than say 108 degrees or so. thanks! dragon2 2 #2 March 2, 2007 There are lenses like that for apsc (nikkor 10.5mm for instance). Usually you can tell by it's name, nikon's DX lenses are for apsc. If it's a full-frame lens, then there's whole discussions on the 'net about fov using apsc vs ff sensors but I think you're right. ciel bleu, Saskia
