HeadLicker 0 #1 March 22, 2007 Hi everyone. I am curious as to if anyone has tried or knows anyone who has tried this remote cam eye for skydiving. When I called, they said that there is no degredation, so it should be a good quality. They also have a 30 day money back if not delighted deal. Either a posting here or in my Email would be fine. Thanks for your information. http://www.viosport.com/store/customer/ourgear.php?page=ac3_overview"Political change which ran ahead of social and psychological development was at best useless and at worst dangerous." --George Eliot

dragon2 2 #3 March 22, 2007 Good quality? It's going through an A/V cable, which is VHS quality. Which is not "good". S-VHS would be better, no degradation is only when using Firewire/i-Link. ciel bleu, Saskia

(not taking it personal ) hey dragon, so my video's are 'not good'??? As long as you don't take stills from your video material, and use a decent recording cam, a bullet-cam can really compare with a normal cam. And it can save your neck!Caren
dragon2 2 #5 March 23, 2007 I know it can save your neck, trust me I see the merits of that, esp after being in the hospital after a hard opening. But don't tell me you can't see the difference in quality compared to a regular miniDV camera. It depends on what you're using it for I suppose. For debriefing, novelty video (taped to your shoe etc), it's fine. But it is nowhere near dvd quality let alone DV. This is because the lens is so small (that's the whole point of the things) and because of the interface (usually if not always VHS, are there any SVSH or DV around?). Which is a pity otherwise I'd jump one probably. ciel bleu, Saskia
