toronto_bill 0 #1 March 26, 2007 TI's doing video. So if money were no object. What is the best sys to use? I'm thinking a lipstick type camera taped to the hand and a wire up your sleeve to the deck. What camera would be the best? If PC9's were used is there a lipstick camera that can be used? Thanks in advance for any info, Bill
Dokeman 0 #2 March 27, 2007 I just got one of the gloves from quality rigging (advertised in the classifides) and am very happy with the build quality. I have my pc109 in there with a diamond .3 lens and it works perfect.

Thanks in advance for any info, Bill I doubt that would work as you need a VERY wide angle like .3 or .25 to have good coverage, IMHO. I have a Sony HC40 & dimond .3 wide angle lens. http://www.steveorino.com/videos/handcam.wmv steveOrino
toronto_bill 0 #4 March 28, 2007 OKay thanks guys....a follow up if i may.. Were looking at doing it out of a U206B (right cargo door)...so I was concerned about having a camera on my wrist. moving back from 5 slot may be difficult.
diablopilot 2 #5 March 28, 2007 I love my glove from riggerrob (contact via PM's) and a PC 105.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
riggerrob 643 #6 April 3, 2007 Not sure by what you mean by "5 slot." If that means sitting with your back to the instrument panel, try grabbing the top of the door frame with your left (camera) hand. and pointing the lens down to catch the student swinging their feet out the door. In most Cessnas, you get the best footage from sitting with your back to the pilot's seat.
toronto_bill 0 #7 April 19, 2007 Thanks guys.......we're going with PC9's cause we already own the cameras ($$$). Rob, yeah you got it. Back to the instrument panel (facing aft) beside the pilot. Thanks again, Bill
