Miami 0 #27 April 3, 2007 Ok, I was incorrect in which tool I was thinking...it was not quickmask but extract. Cut me a little slack on the quality of the job, I only spent 15-20 minutes doing this sequence so there are a decent amount of imperfections...I just wanted to show an example of what I was talking about. The photo is here at the bottom of the page. The center subject is the one attached to the background (obviously), the outside two were extracted from adjacent photos in the sequence. These were taken hand held and I was panning with the subject.Miami

mccordia 74 #32 April 4, 2007 When people have their camera set to auto (in terms of exposure) even a light panning with the subject will turn every picture a different colour/shade. Making the merging of images quite hard, as it can take ages to get them all to the same colour levels/contrast. This image was put together by combining rougly 12 photos into one.JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

mccordia 74 #34 April 4, 2007 QuoteThis is important to know for shooting timelapse as well... Same goes for video, and shooting swoopers coming down.. So you actually see who people are (against an overly bright sky), instead of a black sihouette coming down, the camera then freaking out, and going completely white for a second, and then finaly resting on the correct lighting conditions on the ground ; Manual settings...they where put there for a reasonJC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
