Z-Team 140-way 2-point photos

Recommended Posts

They just made it...
Finally at the very last attempt they built a 140-way and turned asecond point here at Skydive City, FL.
It's a new WORLD RECORD!
The very uniqe thing is about these photos I took them from the ground!
I used a Canon 100-400mm IS lens (thanks to Scotty Burnes) a Kenko 3X tele-converter and a Canon 5D. Full manual setting 1/160 shutter, f5.6, ISO400, and manual focus.

Yeh, point two has a bit of motion blur. Earlier today I was shooting with a faster 1/250 shutter speed (also with alower ISO like 250), but I had to go up to ISO 400 and come down to 1/160 shutter speed.
... but I still can't belive how good the results turned out to be.

Laszlo, next time you have something like this, drop me a note. You know the Canon boyz sponsor VASST from time to time. I could never shoot what you're shooting, but I might be able to provide for a short time.
See you at NAB, bro

Thank you Doug!
Next time I'll let you know in advance.
I've been still using Canon equipment except 3X converter. So if you have time and energy you can show these images to the Canon guys.
Which NAB did you mean? I can't go to Vegas, but I deffinetly interested about the NYC one if it happens at same time of the year.
Blue Skies!
