fallin 0 #1 May 10, 2007 Is anyone using a Rawa Cam helmet for RW. I noticed they market it as a freefly helmet. I do both--will that be a prob? ex. poor aerodynamics, lifting ect. Thanks
Icon134 0 #2 May 10, 2007 The biggest concern is probably that the D-box is fixed in one position. I use a Rawa and I'm almost entirely on my belly... Its an OK helmet for "casual" I don't want to record anything special video flying... but I'm looking to get a Flat top helmet to replace it in the near future. Just to increase my versatility.Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
neilly 0 #4 May 11, 2007 I use one just for fun RW jumping, I found that it "aimed" a little low. After a few jumps and checking the footage, I decided an adjustment was in order, Only took a little time with a dremmel and a couple of new rivets and it now takes a picture of what I am looking at. The box can be reattached as good as before .Fly like an aardvark
neilly 0 #5 May 11, 2007 Oh and in reply to the lifting issue, I can honestlysay that Ihave never noticed it doing anything strange, I don't even think about it, much to my annoyance when I forget to turn the camera on. LOLFly like an aardvark
