flyinchicken 0 #1 June 22, 2007 Ok I have looked EVERYWHERE! I cannot find the information of an address to send my sony pc109 for repairs. It is no longer under warrenty so i mistakenly threw away the info. Anyone have the info on hand? "Diligent observation leads to pure abstraction". jtval 0 #4 June 22, 2007 Somewhere on that site is a phone number. If you call them and tell them your sending from canada, they may redirect you or help you send it to themMy photos My Videos
SkymonkeyONE 4 #5 June 29, 2007 I sent my clapped-out PC 109 back to the sony repair station in Texas and had it back in perfect working order in eight days (I think). It cost me $311 dollars (as I recall).
Iceburner 0 #6 June 29, 2007 and to think i bought my pc109 for about 350...but i love the camera. My warrenty just ended...so it's gotta be bound to break pretty soon, what are some common things that go on them?
flyinchicken 0 #7 June 30, 2007 Turns out there is one here in Toronto. I can drop it off and patched up n/p. Ice, I have two pc 109's. One of the biggest problems I have heard of and encountered was the focus error. Somthing happens in the focus mechanism and it doesn't adjust properly anymore. Usually from dropping or rough handling. The one I need repaired right now was knocked off of my desk by my cats and something has happened to the pc connection. I hope they can fix THAT. Enjoy ur cam i luv both of mine. "Diligent observation leads to pure abstraction". Lari Pittman
SkymonkeyONE 4 #8 July 1, 2007 The touch screen controls eventually fail and the camera zooms in and out wildly on it's own sometimes due to wires getting chafed. I got three good years out of mine before I had to send it in for repair. It was totally worth it to me.
