masterblaster72 0 #1 September 7, 2007 Hi all, When I try to convert my (large, high-quality) .dv file downloaded from my cameria into iMovieHD (on MacBook Pro) to a more portable format like .avi, it inevitably loses quality and the video becomes jagged or pixellated. Is there any way I can convert to a reasonably-sized .avi or .mpg or .mov video using iMovieHD without losing so much quality? Videos are usually a few minutes long and I'm hoping for an end result of a decent quality .avi or .mpg or .mov that is under 100MB. Thanks in advance. faulknerwn 38 #3 September 8, 2007 Have you tried the various save options in imoviehd? I would definitely try saving it to the mov quicktime format since that is a default mac format.
