Doke raises a good point for "weakest link".My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. I'm for wearing your helmet for take off regardless of the need to shoot footage. Put your helmet on and take your camera off it's mount to shoot the video. Icon134 0 #31 October 9, 2007 At the DZ I've been jumping at we are asked to film the takeoff for tandem/aff skydives. Fortunately I can do this while sitting on the floor of the plane while still wearing my helmet (and I don't have to remove my cameras) I'm all for wearing or securing camera helmets while the plane is taking off.
