photoshop question??

Its been a while since Ive used photo shop I edited a photo and I want to save the changes as a .jpg can anyone remind me how to do it? thanks

So you want to save as a jpg

have you tried (file) save as>jpg?

yea, it only shows the photoshop ext

You have probably created various layers. You need to 'flatten' the image (go to layer, then flatten image) before saving as a jpg (i have version 7 - may be different on yours)

Find the "save a copy" option. Where it is depends on what version you have.

You need to have the pic in 8-bit mode, not 16-bit, to be able to save as .JPG.

got to Image > Mode > 8-bit - after doing that you'll get your .JPG option back in the Save > As dialogue. :-)

Here is your problem,
Go under Image,
Go to mode
Set image to 8 bits
This will fix the problem
