asdf9876 0 #1 November 23, 2007 I'm looking for a cheap skydiving camera, (which I guess means the low end sony models.) HC28, HC36 and HC38 seem affordable. I know that they don't have the LANC port, and I can live with that, but are they otherwise good for aerial photography? Can I just go with HC28, or do you recommend something else? sinjin 0 #2 November 23, 2007 they are great for aerial photography and if you dont mind the lack of cam eye on the 28/38 models.. go for it.. some might recommend the pc 109 or some other pc models.. i use the hc42 and love it.. pablodont let life pass you by
everymansaved 0 #3 November 23, 2007 There's lots of posts on here regarding camcorder choices. As for the cheap part, eBay, eBay, eBay! I just picked up a like new PC-120 with a boatload of accessories for ~$225, and that was by no means the only one available. You have to look through the mini DV camcorders manually though, if you just type in "PC" into the search, you turn up nothing. You could search for "PC109" or "HC28," etc... you might find something though...God made firefighters so paramedics would have heroes...and someone can put out the trailer fires. velocityphoto 0 #4 November 23, 2007 Without proper profiles filled out jump numbers years in sport DZ locations etc etc ,people don't want to respond to these inquiries. IMO... Search the forums for your answers to your camera questions and you'll find lots anyways. A friend will bail you out of jail , a REAL friend will be sitting next to you in the cell slapping your hand saying "DUDE THAT WAS AWSUM " ................
