pilotdave 0 #1 January 30, 2008 http://www.tamron.com/news/35mm/1024_pma08.asp Wonder how it'll work or what it will cost. Slightly smaller and lighter than the canon 10-22... basically the same size. 3.5mm shorter, same diameter, half ounce lighter, little more focal length range. Hopefully cheaper? PhreeZone 20 #2 January 30, 2008 Its designed for APS-C sensors. Any full frame camera will not be able to use it. I am going to hold of purchasing a Sigma 15mm to see what the tests show on this lens, I'm hoping it will be priced better then the Canon with as nice of quality.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
pilotdave 0 #3 January 30, 2008 Yep, same with the canon 10-22. Doesn't bother me too much, since it'll probably be a very long time before they put out a compact full frame camera that I'd put on my head. The 10-22s are really popular now and sell fast for not much less than the new price when they are put up for sale used. The sigma 15 looks nice, but I really like being able to play with different focal lengths. 10mm is a lot of fun. Dave
