Where to buy cheap lens

I am going to cali for a trip in 2 weeks and i cant afford a liquid sky lens right now...any good ideas on where to get a .3 lens for my pc1000 for cheap?!?!

A 0.43 47mm Kenko is really wide and they are relatively cheap on Ebay. It's totally wide enough for FF and an all around decent introductory lens. A .3 you'll have to be literally on top of your subject. Like stated in other threads, the rating (.43 vs. .3) is different between manufacturers and how far the lens is mounted on the camera.

If you can find em, the single element (clamp-on) lenses from Raynox are pretty cheep. Easy to modify if you just glue a conversion ring in there at your cameras thread size.

i'd suggest e-bay...i had a 25 dollar lense for over a year now...works perfect, although it is kind of huge on my camera...but all n all it works just fine.

even at my skill level (albeit not that good for my jump #s) i don't regularly get close enough to my subjects to need something as wide as the royal 0.3. i have a kenko 0.43, and for the most part it is probably as wide as i would want to go... and it's cheap as hell too ($25-35).

i would suggest this lens for your use. if you don't like it and still want the royal, you haven't spent that much to come to that conclusion.
