Conversion between these two

Recommended Posts

I've got a Konica TC from -78 that my dad bought in Lebanon. It's been collecting dust the last 5 years with only sporadic use. Now that I've bought a 350D it would have been nice to use the two lenses I've got for my Konica. The two lenses are:

50mm Konica Hexanon AR F1.7

135mm PANAGOR 2.8 fixed telelens - good for portrait pictures

The only info I might enterpit from the lenses is an 55Ø on the 50mm lens. Does it indicate that it's 55mm at the attachmentponit?

The real question is this: Does it exist an conversion between these to lenses and my Canon 350D and where can I find it?

I couldn't find anything on the web that I understood [:/] I've got 3 filters that fits to my Konica lenses that would have been really cool to use on my 350D.

Konica lenses are not compatible in any way with Canon bodies. The only way they could possibly work is through manual adapter rings and doing so disables all the automatic features like Autofocus, and appature control. You'd need to shoot full manual on everything and adjust the focus for it too. The Canon 50 f1.8 II can be had on eBay for less then $90 anymore, I'd just get that to use.

The 55mm is the size threads on the end of the lens for the screw in filters if you choose to use any.
