skyclown2000 0 #1 March 16, 2008 In the market for one...Any suggestions? The Sony CX7 looks great in terms of its size and functionality. It may be used for the occasional tandem video as well so slo-mo and other funtions for editing are important...Any input will be great!
PhreeZone 20 #2 March 16, 2008 Its been talked about a ton on here already. Doa search for every model you are looking at and the info is there. The CX7 is great if you have a computer right there to do your editing on. What BluRay authoring program are you going to use?Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

PharmerPhil 0 #4 March 16, 2008 I wouldn't combine an HDV camera with an analog board for editing. Particularly if you want to do slow motion. Check out this thread for more info: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2806712;#2806712 For what it's worth, I went back to my SD (DV) cam last year because of these problems. This year I will be shooting with an HC-5 (HDV), but I will probably shoot in regular DV mode when I know I will be doing analog editing.[url]
