Skydave103 0 #1 March 18, 2008 Has any one had problems with their CF card or Canon 20 D? Im using a Sandisk Extreme III 2 gb. This is the 3rd or 4th time this have happened over the last month. I format the card after every weekend with my camera. In the past I formatted it with my computer but it seemed to leave a lot more mb left on there than if I did it with the camera. Got any ideas what might be causing it and how to fix it? Skydave103 0 #3 March 18, 2008 As in they need to replace it or they can do a format that will delete everything and leave no mb?LifeshouldNOTbeajourneytothegravewithawellpreservedbody, buttskidinsideways, cigarinone hand, martiniintheother, bodythoroughlyused upandscreaming:"WOO HOO!! PhreeZone 20 #4 March 18, 2008 Replacement. Solid State media is great since it has no moving parts but all it really is are a series of transitors and intergrated circuits and if one has an error on it or developes issues there isn't much that can be done to repair it. Try a different memory card in the camera for a while to see if that helps.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
