DJBreeze 0 #1 March 24, 2008 I am looking for any information from people who do or have jumped with the Sony HDR-HC5. I am in the market for a new video camera and would love some input since this seems to be the camera I am leaning toward. I have read some of the other posts on DZ.com but was interested on any new feedback. Especially in the area of picture shake, low light shooting etc. I am also leaning towards either the Optik Illusion helmet with side mount or the Cookie Helmet with side mount so that the top is free for my Still Camera? What do you guys think? This is going to be my first camera helmet so as much feedback prior to me buying would fantastic! Thanks Breeze New Orleans, La. dragon2 2 #3 March 24, 2008 Try search............ HC5 is a great skydiving camera. It should be topmounted only. Get a FTN or FTP type helmet if you want to add stills (front or top) later. Get a raynox HD lens (= big = another reason to topmount it). Oh, and get some more jumps of course. ciel bleu, Saskia
