freefly160 0 #1 March 27, 2008 I'm looking at buying my first camera for camera flying. I want to purchase the Sony CX7. I read thru the thread about the cx7 being/ not being discontinued. I know it, or some version of it, will be around for a while. But the salesman I spoke to today said a new version will be released soon. Does anyone have any knowledge of this? I don't care so much about having the newest version. I just don't want to buy a CX7 this week and have it go on sale because a new one is released two weeks from now. For anyone else looking to purchase a a CX7, B&H Photo is a good place to check out. ($849 plus S&H) and it comes with a Sony 4GB memory stick.
