Zee 0 #1 April 20, 2008 Just got one as a gift the other day. I haven't had a chance to skydive with it yet but, it is one awesome little lens. Took some pictures of the pooch in the back yard. Pudgy She's a fun little dog but she hates to be photographed. She either looks away, walks away, or she lays down and gives me the shark eye like this lol Shark Eye I used my Sigma 15mm a lot for tandems before I switched to Nikon. It'll be fun to see how the skydiving shots turn out with this thing especially since you can "un-fishify" the pictures using Nikon Capture software Action©Sports

Zee 0 #3 April 20, 2008 I like the shot from above. Kinda makes the earth look like a globe. It's a fisheye after all - not really meant to be used on every skydive. But they do have a lot of other uses besides skydiving. Landscapes, buildings, inside tight spaces like automobiles. Very handy lens to have in your camera bag..... dragon2 2 #4 April 20, 2008 Hah hah I get the globe thing a lot even with my 16mm fisheye, "see, the earth is round!!" ciel bleu, Saskia

It's funny when some people think they are actually seeing the curvature of the earth! :-)
velocityphoto 0 #8 April 29, 2008 What is the field of view with the nikon 1.5 crop factor? I'm considering the new sigma 10 mm for canon digital. It has a field of 163 . Possibly the 10-22 canon too, but the field of view isn't as wide on it . A friend will bail you out of jail , a REAL friend will be sitting next to you in the cell slapping your hand saying "DUDE THAT WAS AWSUM " ................ I was looking at the 10-20 and the 12-24 but they're a bit big for skydiving. Action©Sports
