Ringed harness / weight shifts under canopy

How much of a difference (if any) do chest rings make on harness inputs to your canopy? I've heard they reduce it a lot (only have hip rings on my rig).

I would say that it doesnt do much (especially if you loosen the chest strap). I have fully articulated harness and I can get quite a response out of my harness.... jsut my 2 cents, but I love the articulation and wouldnt have a rig without it..
