Does anyone have experience with these helmet??

I ask because maybe i want to buy one of them.

What is different compare with the bonehead flat top pro??

I know he likes his. I tried on the narrow at SkyFest. They didn't have a demo WesPro. I really liked how it fit. I have a big melon and it fit me nicely. I plan to order a Pro soon.

Love it. More platform area than any helmet I've used so far, and far more comfortable than any camera helmet I've worn. What else can I tell you?

What camera switch are you using? bite, mouth, tongue? and with what still camera

It's currently set up with an HC5, conceptus tongue switch, hype-eye, and a Canon Xti on a RRS mount.

very simular to my new set up.

I am thinking about getting a mouth switch for my new XTI to accommodate the wes pro's design. how do you like using the tongue switch with the Pro?

You can fit the still and video on the top plate no problem? Is the still portrait or landscape mounted?

Both. Or I should say it is easily switchable with the RRS bracket. I've never been a big fan of QR mounts, but I took a trip to the RRS offices (less than an hour from me) and got to play with their stuff. The L brackets are nice if you like to switch shooting preferences.

Yeah, I'm not a fan either, but they look pretty nice.

Have you thought of mounting a flash?

Not doing much camera flying that would require it lately, but I do have a bracket from a previous set up that would work nicely.

I still think the 15 cent screw has merit and if I didn't wish to have the option of mounting the camera both ways, I'd be using one for that.

Oh, and I'm still using one for the video camera.
